7. Taco Puffs

Taco Puffs are a quick hearty snack to enjoy at your football party. Kids and adults alike can't get enough of the delicious portable snack. Brown 1lb of ground beef in a medium sized frying pan. Add 1 packet of taco seasoning, 1 jar of salsa, and 1 package of shredded cheddar cheese to the meat. Unroll two packs of frozen crescent shaped dough on a flat surface. Spoon a small amount of the meat mixture onto each triangle. Fold the triangle from corner to corner firmly pressing the sides closed over the meat mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10-13 minutes or until a light golden brown. Guests will enjoy these with sides of sour cream, salsa, and guacamole.

6. Chocolate Football Krispie Treats

Can't enjoy a great football party without satisfying your sweet tooth. On low heat melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a large saucepan. Add in one bag of marshmallows and stir until the marshmallows are melted in the butter. Remove the saucepan from the stove and add 6 cups of coca rice krispies to the mix. Fold the mixture until all of the rice is covered in the melted mix. Using your hands grab a handful of the mixture and form into the shape of a football. Use your favorite cookie icing to trace the lines of a football on the top of the treats. For the optimal taste serve the same day.
